Save Water. Save Energy.

Water Conservation is an important element of Energy Conservation. Although this isn't a new finding, it is still not top of mind for many, particularly those who don't pay the bills (i.e: teenagers who enjoy taking 45 minute long showers without a care in the world) (smiles).

Kitchener Utilities, in partnership with the Region of Waterloo, has taken the initiative to help their residential customers save water by offering a $15 coupon for WaterSense Certified shower heads twice per year (in April and October), and called upon Greenbrain to design and deliver the program in Fall 2015.

Greenbrain worked closely with hardware retailers in Kitchener to create shelving displays, develop the reporting process, distribute coupons via events and merchandising, and promote the program to residents. We continue to deliver this program on behalf of Kitchener Utilities, and host events to educate and engage with customers on Water Conservation.
